Scrapbooking in Owensboro

Let me tell you about the cupcakes.
We are at walmart to get some snacks for the night and I see this pack of 6 cupcakes-the only one left. I thought yea, those will be really good, so I got them and when I went to pay for them, This young girl was ringing me up. I saw her scan the cupcakes, THEN turn them UPSIDE DOWN! Quickly she turned them back over, but she was very very calm about the whole thing. She grabbed another bag and set the first bag into it and tied the first bag with the cupcakes in it and set them aside. I thought, hmmmm let me take a look see. And yes she had double bagged my cupcakes and tied the inside bag in a knot. Slick, I thought, as I am trying to unknot the bag I start to giggle and try to tell Wanda what was going on, well lets just say that after I saw the cupcakes I just about peed my pants and couldn't hardly say a thing, poor girl, it was a good thing I wasn't buying them for a party or anything, but I will give her credit, she kept a straight face the whole time. I did however eat the only cupcake that hadn't lost any icing, and it was sooo great.

This is Wanda, Sarah and me before our night at Mrs. Christy's office. This is our second time being there and we had a blast. The bottom pic was before we left for home the next morning. ROUGH!!
We left about 10:30 and picked up Sarah on the way(who was in from OK and staying with her mom in Roundhill). We got to Owensboro and hit hobby lobby and Tuesday Morning for some scrapbooking deals while we waited for Christy to get off work. FYI-I was telling the girls of how when I was a small child we had went into the same place(hobby lobby) and that was when I saw a REAL Nun for the first time in my life. Silly, I know but living in Greenville, I never had saw one in person before. Then as Sarah and I are walking out of Tuesday Morning there are 2 the are crossing the road, and I am like, see there they are-as if it were the SAME Nuns that I saw many, many years ago, anyways it was pretty funny at the time and you just had to have been there.

I am a little late checking up on the blogs...sorry! Christy is such a wonderful person. I miss seeing her here in Edmonson County. Also, Sara is from the same community that Kevin and I live in. She is such a wonderful person that is deeply missed in our "neck of the woods". Isn't it such a small world that we know the same people? Tell Clay I said hi and that I am terribly sorry that I wasn't at Pleasant Union the other day with Kevin and Gavin! :)
