Birthdays and More

After alot of birthdays, parties, showers, and money the month of July is almost gone. Well my birthday was first, and Mark was too cute this year. On June 19th when I came in from work there was a card on the bed, and I asked if it might be mine and he said yes, I am going to make you look at it for the next few days, I was like, uh, what for? and he smiled and said "your birthday is on the 22nd"... So I grinned really big and said "yes but its in July"... Needless to say, I did get my card 2 days later, I just thought it was sweet. Then my very best friend-Wanda May- and I were invited to a tupperware party, after having the party rescheduled I REALLY did not want to go, I had such a long week and was just worn out, Well when I told Wanda that I didn't want to go, she threw a complete hissy fit. I was so mad and then I really didn't want to go to the stupid tupperware party, After I left work that day I picked up Poppy and went for ice cream at DQ and took Poppy home, well it was 5 minutes before the party was supposed to start and Wanda was calling wanting to know where I was at and that they were waiting for me. I get to the stupid house (5 minutes late) for the stupid party that I didn't want to go to and it was a surprise Birthday party for stupid me....Thanks Wanda, Flo, Delores, Sierra, Kristen, Brittany, and Bailey. I did have a great time. Kristen also had a birthday, she turned 18. We took her out to eat and to the drive in, her friend, Jessica came with us. We had a good night. We have gone to my neice, Lillie's birthday party, then off to Anna Kate's Party, then gone to a babyshower. I have been canning green beans, corn and tomatoes. Which means late nights, sore fingers and an achy back, Clay even helped a little, he broke the beans for me and shucked some corn too.

We have also been school shopping and Clay is now ready for school. He is a little nervous because we have told him over and over how much different it will be in 3rd grade and he has to listen and can't goof off. I think he will do very well this year.

My Mom also came to Church with us on Sunday, I was so thankful to have her there with me, First time I can remember being in Church with her-except at Mamaw Houchin's Funeral. She really wanted to hear Bro. Jerry preach, so I just said she will just have to go again with me to hear him ;-) My stepdad couldn't come because he has been sick from his treatments, they had to change some meds because he was swelling so bad, and that started to affect his heart, they still need your Prayers. His cancer is shrinking but he is still weak and sick. I don't think he will be able to return to work. I'll will let you know when I know more.
